Springtime in the Rockies 2008, brought together six long-time realtor associates to form a
brand new brokerage company—REAL ESTATE OUT WEST, INC. The newly formed owner-group was successful in its search for office space in Rifle, purchasing a building on the corner of Railroad
Avenue and East 11th Street (directly across from the Garfield County Fairgrounds). Several
weeks of extensive renovation later, the group is now at home in its new office at 100 East 11th
Street.

Real Estate Out West, Inc. includes Danette Dickey, Linda Hansen, Joyce Moulton, Sara
Robbins-Flores, Terrie Samuelson and Darren Smith. Collectively, the group offers nearly a
half-century of experience in real estate, with emphasis in residential and rural properties. Personal
interests range from builders/developers to horse/livestock enthusiasts to outdoor
recreationists—golfing, hiking, biking, rafting/boating, skiing, fishing, gardening/landscaping—all
the things for which western Colorado is famous.

The new slogan for Real Estate Out West, Inc. is “Where Buyers and Sellers Meet”, reflecting the true meaning of the real estate business. It is the goal of each of the six broker/owners of the company to provide the best possible service to their clients, whether selling or purchasing a
home. The company is constantly seeking better methods of marketing properties, from use of the
internet to written products (i.e. professionally published property brochures, newsprint ads,
postcard campaigns). The group prides itself in being flexible in an ever-changing market,
constantly developing programs to meet the needs of its clients.

Individual brokers have experience in working with a wide variety of lenders and loan
programs—which have seen a dramatic change in the past year. Several members of the
group also have extensive experience with relocation companies—both sales and purchases.
